About Vancouver School District Foundation

The Vancouver School District Foundation was established in 1988 with an initial $50,000 gift to provide for the unmet basic needs of children attending Vancouver, Washington Public Schools. Lack of basic needs, along with family instability and high mobility rates have a direct impact on a child’s education.

Our nonprofit organization directs funds and services from individuals, businesses and other nonprofit organizations to programs and projects where public funding is not available.

We rely on donations to meet the basic needs of students, to provide annual enrichment grant awards to staff and to fund numerous other Foundation programs. We invite you to learn more about these programs here (programs).
