VSDF - Our Children Our Future Once a year, every girl's dream of the perfect prom dress can come true. Be part of the magic!
Operation Fairy Godmother : Saturday, March 17, 2007 - Westfield Vancouver Mall

For many girls’ families, buying a dress for the prom is so far out of reach it would take a fairy godmother to make it happen. That’s where Operation Fairy Godmother comes in.

This ambitious project, started by the Vancouver School District Foundation in 2004, pairs Clark County area high school girls with the dress of their dreams for a fraction of the cost. In 2009 over 2,800 formal and semiformal dresses, plus shoes, jewelry and other accessories were collected.

Grant a Wish

For many girls’ families, buying a dress for the prom is so far out of reach it would take a fairy godmother to make it happen. Grant a Wish and become part of the magic that makes dreams come true for high school girls. Just $10 puts a dress in the hands of a local Cinderella.

No dress to donate but you’d still like to contribute? Print out the Grant a Wish donation form, complete the requested information and mail your contribution to the Foundation office address that appears on the bottom of the form. Your donation helps ensure that every girl in the Clark County area has the same opportunity to attend her high school prom looking her best!
