Donor-advised Funds

Our donor-advised funds support specific Foundation programs or needs at one or more schools or individual classrooms. The following funds have been established by our generous donors. To donate money to one of these funds, or to establish a new fund, please contact us.

Administrative Endowment Fund – Offsets Foundation overhead costs.

Artful Gift Fund – Supports various fine art projects throughout the district.

Beaches Charity Fund – Provides grant awards for classroom teachers through an annual competition.

Challenge/Honors Fund – Provides supplies and materials for students participating in the Vancouver School District's Challenge and Honors programs.

Colonial Williamsburg Training Fund – Allows three teachers annually to experience colonial life at the Teachers Institute in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Curt Daniels Memorial Building Fund – Established to build an outdoor batting cage at Propstra Stadium.

Donor-Directed Funds – Funds specific schools, projects, programs or needs as designated by an individual donor.

Drumline Fund – Purchases equipment and supplies for students participating in the drumline at Martin Luther King Elementary School.

Enrichment Fund – Buys supplies and materials for students participating in the Vancouver School District’s Challenge Program. 

G.A.T.E. House Fund – Funds the building of a day-use home for students in the Gateway to Adult Transitional Education program, where G.A.T.E students learn to live as independently as possible.

G.A.T.E. Program Fund – Supports the Gateway to Adult Transitional Education program, which serves 18- to 21-year-old students with substantial learning and physical disabilities.

GEAR-UP Fund – Provides individual academic tutoring and extended-day enrichment activities to help kids achieve personal and academic goals and attend college.

HOPE Fund – Helps students enrolled in the Homeless Outreach Promoting Education program at Open House Ministries with some of their basic needs.

Literacy Fund – Provides students with a variety of literacy opportunities.

Lunch Buddy Fund – Provides support to the Lunch Buddy program in 20 local elementary schools.

Music Enrichment Fund – Covers musical instrument rental fees for students in need.

Operation Fairy Godmother Fund – Funds are used to cover expenses associated with the annual prom dress collection event.

Science Fund – Provides students with a variety of science learning opportunities.

Tom Dudley Counseling Fund – Provides extended mental health services for students.
