Donor-advised Funds

Our donor-advised funds support specific Foundation programs or needs at one or more schools or individual classrooms. The following funds have been established by our generous donors. To donate money to one of these funds, or to establish a new fund, please contact us.

Administrative Endowment Fund – Offsets Foundation overhead costs.

Artful Gift Fund – Supports various fine art projects throughout the district.

Beaches Charity Fund – Provides grant awards for classroom teachers through an annual competition.

Clothes Closet Fund – Provides financial support for miscellaneous expenses associated with the Clothes Closet.

Colonial Williamsburg Training Fund – Allows three teachers annually to experience colonial life at the Teachers Institute in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Curt Daniels Memorial Building Fund – Established to build an outdoor batting cage at Propstra Stadium.

Enrichment Fund – Buys supplies and materials for students participating in the Vancouver School District’s Challenge Program. 

G.A.T.E. House Fund – Funds the building of a day-use home for students in the Gateway to Adult Transitional Education program, where G.A.T.E students learn to live as independently as possible.

G.A.T.E. Program Fund – Supports the Gateway to Adult Transitional Education program, which serves 18- to 21-year-old students with substantial learning and physical disabilities.

HOPE Fund – Helps students enrolled in the Homeless Outreach Promoting Education program at Open House Ministries with some of their basic needs.

IMPACTING KIDS FIRST Fund – Provides individual academic tutoring, extended day recreational and enrichment activities to help motivate kids to stay in school and achieve personal and academic goals.

Individual School Fund – Provides funds to a specific school or classroom as designated by donor.

Jim Parsley Community Center Technology Fund – Supports technology needs at the Jim Parsley Center.

Literacy Fund – Provides students with a variety of literacy opportunities.

Music Enrichment Fund – Covers musical instrument rental fees for students in need.

PeaceJam Fund – Provides scholarships for interested students to attend the annual event featuring a Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

Science Fund – Provides students with a variety of science opportunities.

Tom Dudley Counseling Fund – Provides extended mental health services for identified students in the Vancouver School District.
