Donor–advised funds are established at donor request to support specific projects or programs. The following funds have been established by generous donors to support Foundation programs. To add your support to one of these funds, or to create a new fund, please contact us.
Administrative Endowment Fund – Offsets Foundation overhead costs.
Beaches Charity Fund – Provides grant awards for classroom teachers.
Challenge/Honors Fund – Provides supplies and materials for students participating in the Vancouver School District’s Challenge and Honors programs.
Colonial Williamsburg Training Fund – Allows two teachers annually to experience colonial life at the Teachers Institute in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Drumline Fund – Purchases equipment and supplies for students participating in the drumline at Martin Luther King Elementary School.
Expanded Basic Needs Fund – Provides students and their families with basic needs during unusual or extreme circumstances.
G.A.T.E. Program Fund – Supports the Gateway to Adult Transitional Education program, which serves 18- to 21-year-old students with substantial learning and physical disabilities.
GEAR-UP Fund – Provides individual academic tutoring and extended-day enrichment activities to help kids achieve personal and academic goals and attend college.
HOPE Fund – Helps students enrolled in the Homeless Outreach Promoting Education program at Open House Ministries with some of their basic needs.
Literacy Fund – Provides students with a variety of literacy opportunities.
Lunch Buddy Fund – Provides support to the Lunch Buddy program in local schools.
Operation Fairy Godmother Fund – Covers expenses associated with this annual prom dress event.
Scholarships – Scholarships are provided through the Foundation thanks to our generous donors who designate funds to specific schools or programs.
Science Fund – Provides students with a variety of science learning opportunities.
Tom Dudley Counseling Fund – Provides extended mental health counseling services for identified students in the Vancouver School District.
