Beaches Restaurant
Every year, Beaches Restaurant gives generously to Vancouver causes—including the Foundation. The restaurant has been a loyal supporter of Foundation fundraisers for many years, with in-kind donations of food, supplies and labor to offset Annual Luncheon costs and more.
Owner Mark Matthias was also instrumental in organizing the Green Eggs and Ham reading program in local elementary schools. This weeklong event, celebrating the works of Dr. Seuss, culminates in a green eggs and ham feast delivered to some 7,500 elementary students throughout the district—all whipped up by the staff at Beaches.
