Our History

The Vancouver School District Foundation was established in 1988 with an initial $50,000 gift designated to provide for the unmet basic needs of children attending Vancouver Public Schools. Today, our nonprofit organization continues to direct funds and services from individuals, businesses, corporations, memorials and other nonprofit organizations to programs and projects where educational funding is not available.

We rely on donations to meet the basic needs of students, to provide annual enrichment grant awards to staff and to fund numerous other Foundation projects.
